About Missions
We are here on mission. It is the reason we have not gone home yet. Sunday is the starting place for living sent to our families, neighborhoods, workplaces, and the world. Pleasant Valley is commanded to GO, across streets, state lines, and borders, to share the Gospel through acts of love and Christ-centered witness. Through Made Alive Worldwide, our global missions arm, we partner with missionaries and communities in Mozambique, London, France, Germany, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Seattle. Through Sybil's Kids, founded in 1990, we serve orphaned and vulnerable children in Mozambique with Christ-centered education, discipleship through 20+ kids clubs, and mentorship that connects American families with children through local churches. From international mission trips to sponsoring a child, there are ways for everyone to be part of what God is doing beyond our walls.
