Peter and Andrew liked to fish. One day Jesus taught the crowds from Peter's boat, then told Peter to let down his nets in deeper water. They caught so many fish the nets began to break, and their partners James and John came to help. Jesus said, 'From now on you will catch people.' They pulled their boats up on the beach, left everything and followed Jesus.
Family challenge
Play a game of Follow the Leader. Choose one person to lead while everyone copies them, then talk about how following Jesus means going where He leads and doing what He does.
Pray together
Jesus, we want to follow You wherever You lead us. Thank You for loving us and leading us in the direction that is right for us. Amen.
